Stylised Abstraction: Glen Buckley and Gabe Makeig
Glen Buckley's works in this exhibition are stylised drawings of roses on paper with pen, ink and watercolour. Inspired by beauty, order and contrast, Glen's preferred genres are Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
Although she painted in earlier years, Gabe Makeig, became absorbed with music through her working life. She has returned to larger and more permanent pieces after 30 years as a face painter. She is inspired by the wildness of nature and sometimes, world events for her abstract art.
